There are a number of reasons why folks start wagering on bingo, for example for cash, for company, for experiencing that rush of adrenaline, or simply to have a great time. Peaks and pitfalls, thrill and chills, you name it – internet bingo offers all these and many more. Just as in any other game where stakes are high, this heightened excitement has its own genuine share of favorable and detrimental affect on the players.
Bingo- The Anxiety Magnet
The excitement wrapped up in a game of bingo can drive a player to the other side of the spectrum. Getting too engrossed in the game, one’s excitement level could fluctuate; this could have a detrimental effect on players who have high blood pressure or cardiac problems. Some studies indicate, individuals who participate in bingo are prone to get easily agitated and accordingly have elevated stress levels. It has been observed that work related stress is much lower than the anxiety generated while playing bingo. There have been many cases of individuals having lost their place of work because of bingo-related anxiety affecting their performance at work.
Despite the above-mentioned risks, bingo is able to still be a wonderful anxiety-reliever if players accept that it is just a game, take care of their health and control their behavior.
